Our team took part in The Swedish Microwave Days 2023 (SMWD 2023) conference. On may the 25th we presented research about the pulse expansion by the use of Microstrip low pass filters. The presentation (see below) “Microstrip Low-Pass Filter Based Picosecond Pulse Expansion for PPM demodulation” focuses on the topic of expanding the pulses used in pulse position modulation. The pulses used in the experiments are within a range of 50-100 picoseconds. The paper is presented by Riga Technical University lecturer Tatjana Solovjova. The image above shows that two different versions of Bessel 3rd order filters have been designed for experiments.
